Howard moves his wheelchair very close to his wife’s bed. A nurse helps him stand up so he can hold his beloved Laura one more time. “I love you,” she says to him as he gently strokes her face.

“I love you too, my love,” says Howard. And then he gives his wife a very special farewell present: He sings her the song “You’ll Never Know” – a song that has accompanied the two of them since their early marriage.
