1. Clean a burnt pan

Cut an orange in half and clean the pan with the cut side. You will be surprised at how well it works.

2. Clean a narrow-necked bottle

Heat the back of the toothbrush head with a lighter, then bend it back. You now have a brush that is the perfect size for a narrow neck.

3. Clean a dirty trash can

In the workshop :

You can easily clean a dirty and tarnished trash can with toothpaste. Just put a large amount of toothpaste in the trash and rub it all with a sponge. Then remove the residue with a damp cloth and the bin will regain its original shine.

4. Clean scaled taps

Everyone’s had taps with stubborn lime stains. A cucumber can fix that quickly. It sounds weird, but it works. Cut the cucumber lengthwise and rub the tap with the cut surface. Wipe with a damp cloth and everything will be clean.

5. Clean dirty white sneakers

In the workshop :

  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Plastic brush with plastic bristles

Your dirty white sneakers can be cleaned very quickly. Mix dish soap and water in a bowl to create lots of suds. Then apply the foam to the shoes using a plastic brush. Rub everything well and wipe with a damp cloth.

6. Remove animal hair from the carpet

It is not just the dog or cat that can benefit from the services of the grooming brush. Your carpet may also need some “grooming”. It suffices to “comb” the carpet with the brush so that all the hairs are collected in the brush.

7. Pick up fine shards of glass

It is not always possible to collect all the shards of glass with a brush. Our tip: use plasticine! The shards of glass get stuck and there is no risk of injury to yourself.

8. Clean brushes and makeup accessories

Foundation brushes and sponges get dirty quickly with regular use. Just put them all in a washable bag and put them in the washing machine. After that, the makeup utensils will be like new.

9. Clean the interstices with a vacuum cleaner

Some narrow places are difficult to reach with a normal vacuum tube. To do this, attach an empty toilet paper roll to the tube and squeeze it a little at the front. This way you can reach the narrowest gaps with the vacuum cleaner.
