With the fall, nature changes and gives us little gifts that we can take home. Today we are going to show you three awesome DIY ideas to enhance your interior with a tree trunk and branches. From a shelf to a coat rack to a lamp, you will have plenty to do! In addition, you don’t need to be a professional to perform them, these tips are available to everyone.
1. Shelf with birch trunks
In the workshop :
- Several birch trunks
- 5 boards
- Screw
- Drill
- Glue
At work !
1.1 First four pieces of the same length of a birch trunk are needed to make the legs of the shelf. Saw these four stumps to the desired size and secure them with screws on the first board (the one that will be on the ground).

1.2 We now need several trunks of the same length for the different levels of shelves. Secure them to the board with long screws, just like the feet. Assemble the entire shelf this way.

1.3 If desired, glue a few more tree washers to the planks so that the trunk looks like it goes through them. Here is the coolest shelf ever!

2. Lamp decorated with branches
In the workshop
- Several branches of the same size and approximately the same thickness
- Hot glue
- Lamp
- Cord
At work !
Just glue the branches vertically onto the lamp and tie a piece of rope around it. Put the lampshade on the socket and your lamp is ready!

3. Coat rack with branches
In the workshop :
- Several branches with ramifications
- Spray paint
- Wood board
- Screw
- Drill
At work !
Spray the branches with paint and secure them to the board with two screws each.
