A decorative table full of memories in no time at all

Here is a new inexpensive decoration idea and in your image that you will have to remember! This is not the first time that the LACK small tables from IKEA have been transformed and sublimated to give a very personal touch to your interior. Here is how to make the simplest of furniture one of the centerpieces of your living room.

1. Organize your photos the way you want them on the table, filling the entire surface.

2. When you are happy with the layout, cut out any pieces of the photos that protrude from the table frame.

3. Then start at the top by removing a row of first photos. Cover the uncovered surface of the table with glue varnish and brush the printed sides of the photos with this same product. Repeat this step until you have made the whole table and let dry for at least 4 hours.

4. Protect the floor in your work area with plastic sheeting or newspaper. Mix 150 ml of epoxy resin exactly following the manufacturer’s recommendations. Pour the product in the middle of the table and smooth to the edges using the squeegee / spatula provided for this purpose to prevent the formation of small bubbles. Let dry for 24 hours.

5. The resin will add shine to the surface and protect it from the ravages of time. The next day, all you have to do is sit around this pretty table and enjoy an aperitif with your friends, who have come to admire your masterpiece.

You can add glitter, replace the photos with postcards, magazine sheets or even newspaper for example. Anything you like!
